Hitchcock Blonde is a thrilling theatrical adventure, set over three eras: 1919, 1959 and 1999.
A faded media‑studies lecturer lures a young female student to his Greek villa to help unravel a mysterious 1919 film‐reel. Meanwhile, decades earlier in 1959 Hollywood, the legendary Alfred Hitchcock is auditioning a poised yet desperate blonde to serve as the body‑double for the infamous shower‑scene in Psycho. As the lost footage is reconstructed, a pattern emerges, one of obsession, power and the icy allure of the blonde muse weaving together across time.
Hitchcock Blonde is darkly comic, erotic, and examines complex relationships based on desire and control, our eternal appetite to be looked at and the danger when the looker becomes the haunted.

Ahoy me hearties! We are delighted to announce that this year's Pantomime at Artrix is TREASURE ISLAND!
Join Jim Hawkins and his hearty crew as they take on the mischievous pirates led by the evil Long John Silver.
Returning for 2025, Bromsgrove's favourite dame, William Hastings with the always entertaining Kilian Perpetuini returning as chief of mischief.
Alongside the timeless tale of Treasure Island, there will be hilarious characters, sing-a-long songs, mesmerising sets and a sprinkle of panto magic!
How Did It Go?
(With multiple 5* reviews, the production was a resounding success and broke all box office records for the Artrix Bromsgrove Pantomime Season!)
Additionally all school shows sold out meaning that for 2026, we have arranged with the venue to double our school slots.

In a totalitarian state a Writer is questioned by the authorities about a spate of murders that bear similarities to their short stories. Is this life imitating art or something more sinister?
This black comedy widely regarded as one of the greatest plays of the past 25 years, examines the role of the artist in society and asks what price do we pay for freedom of expression.
How Did It Go?
With 3/4 of the shows sold out, and great feedback from local creatives, we are proud to have been able to produce Pillowman!
The use of projection mapped gauzes and local art by Bella really added depth to the narrative of the stories by Katurian played by George Perry.
